Angelina Jolie, originally Angelina
Jolie Voight (born on June 4, 1975 in Los Angeles, California) is an American
actor, director, and producer, best known for her sexual appeal as and her
charitable work. Jolie is the daughter of actor Jon Voight, was raised in New
York. After her growing up, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she played the
role of an inpatient with mental illness in Girl, interrupted (1999). After two
years at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute She enrolled at Beverly
Hills High School. New York University later taught her drama. She also
performed in theatre productions. She also was a model and featured in music
videos. Jolie met Jonny Lee Miller (1996 divorced, divorced 1999, divorced).
Like many of the subsequent films, the film could not find an audience. Jolie
was the segregationist spouse of Alabama's governor, attracting the attention
of many in 1997. Jolie later won an Golden Globe Award. In the HBO film Gia,
she was a model who suffered from drug addiction. Jolie was awarded a variety
of honours and awards, including the Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors
Guild Award. She was a co-star with John Cusack in Pushing Tin in 1999. In the
next year, she got married to Thornton (divorced in 2003). Jolie was the
carjacker's wife (Nicolas Cage), in Gone in Sixty Seconds 2000. Later, she
adopted an accent that resembled a British accent and mastered street fighting
and kickboxing to perform the roles in Lara Croft Tomb Raider 2001 and Lara
Croft Tomb Raider The Cradle of Life 2003. She played Alexander's mother in
Oliver Stone's Alexander in 2004 and additionally, she starred alongside Jude
Law and Gwyneth paltrow in Sky Captain: The World of Tomorrow The World of
Tomorrow, a thriller that is set in the 1930s in New York City. Both films were
box office disappointments however Jolie scored a hit in Mr. & Mrs.
Smith (2005) which was a film in which she played an assassin pretending to be
an ordinary housewife. While working on the film she was introduced to Brad
Pitt, who became her partner.
