Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was the daughter of Janice
Cooke, a bookkeeper as well as William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke
Kendrick is her older brother. He was also an actor. Anna Kendrick is Scottish,
Irish and native English. She received nominations for the Tony Award (second
youngest ever) and the Drama Desk Award and the Fany Award (best actress in the
musical). Her amazing performance won her Theatre World Award and Drama League
Award. She was also part of Cabaret’s Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live",
in Great Performances, My Favorite Broadway The Leading Ladies (1999). (TV).
She had the pleasure of working alongside choreographer Scott Ellis,
choreographer Susan Stroman along with other famous actors in the New York City
Opera House. Anna starred in Camp (2003) and was nominated for the Broadway
Tony Award for Best actress (Featured role in a musical) for her role in High
Society. Following the 1991 Tony award winner Daisy Eagan, she was the second
youngest nominee. George Clooney ridiculed her in the New York City Opera House
along with choreographer Susan Stroman. She also starred in "Jane
Eyre" as well as "The Little Princess" for Broadway. In 1998,
Jason Reitman cast her in Up in the Air. After watching her performance on
Rocket Science (2007). Only actress from the 'Twilight Saga to receive an
Oscar. Nominated in 2010 during the time between the 2nd and the third
installments in the series.Graduated from Deering High School (Portland, Maine)
