Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. Born on 11th November 1966. She made her feature film debut by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to portray the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Other roles include Siobhan Donavan as Charlotte in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody started modeling after being approached by a professional photographer. It led to an impressive modeling career in the commercial world. Doody tried to stay clear of the glamour of nude roles which was a principle she incorporated into her acting. In 1985, following being noticed by the casting directors of the James Bond new film, Doody took a small part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody made an appearance in John Willis Screen World Volume 2, as one 12 promising actors to be cast in 1986. 38. She was also set to play the lead role in the remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx. However, this project fell through. Pam Jefferson, the character that she played in the comedy series E4's Beaver Falls during its first season of two seasons. In 2014, she starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018, she was awarded by the Almeria tierra de cine award and was awarded the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
