Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was an Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was aware that she had an aptitude for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first attempt, Felix finished second in the 200 meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she went to an institution called the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for running 200m in 22.18 secs. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked in the top three of athletes in each of her events.
